This weekend was another action-packed one for Lorcana players in the Phoenix Valley, with seven more stores hosting Azurite Seas Set Championships. Additionally, for the first time on this blog, we’re reporting on a Tucson store championship, thanks to some Phoenix players who shared results from southern Arizona.

Saturday, February 1, 2025 – Samurai Comics
Samurai Comics saw 18 players competing in their Azurite Seas Set Championship. The event was filled with excitement, with The Lorcana Muses podcasting trio in attendance, adding to the fun atmosphere. Sapphire Steel dominated the finals, with Daryl emerging as the champion.

Saturday, February 1, 2025 – Gamer’s Guild Tempe
Gamer’s Guild Tempe hosted 23 competitors, with six out of the top eight decks being Ruby Sapphire, showcasing the strength of this ink combination in the current meta. However, Lucas secured first place with his highly competitive Amethyst Steel build.

For the first time, we have results from Tucson, thanks to several Phoenix-area players who traveled south for the competition. Tucson Games and Gadgets hosted 25 players, creating a highly competitive scene. Local player Sawyer emerged victorious with Sapphire Steel.
